The 18th and 19th of November 2015 took place in Almadén (Spain) a training on mercury management and remediation of contaminated sites. The event was organized by UNEP/MAP and SCP/RAC in the framework of the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Union, with the colaboration of the spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment , the CTND (National Technological Center for Mercury Decontamination) and MAYASA.
SwitchMed Connect 2015 was the first gathering of eco and social innovators and their enablers in the Mediterranean.
Under the main theme “partnerships, collaboration and synergies”, there were more than 100 Mediterranean and European actors involved in the protection of coastal zones, including governments, local authorities, public sector, coast management organizations, associations, and funding agencies, to celebrate Coast Day in the Mediterranean on 25 September 2015 in Antibes, France.
Dans le cadre de la composante de Démonstration de SwitchMed, le SCP/RAC cherche à identifier un projet pilote de consommation et production durables (CPD) d’une durée de 18 mois dans un secteur clé de l’économie Marocaine.
