The SwitchMed Programme and the Switcher Sekem at the Annual Report of the Arab Forum for Environment and Development
SCP/RAC has contributed to AFED’s 2015 Annual Report with an article on the SwitchMed Programme and an article of the case of Sekem.

Training on mercury management and remediation of contaminated soils. Almadén 2015
The 18th and 19th of November 2015 took place in Almadén (Spain) a training on mercury management and remediation of contaminated sites. The event was organized by UNEP/MAP and SCP/RAC in the framework of the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Union, with the colaboration of the spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment , the CTND (National Technological Center for Mercury Decontamination) and MAYASA.

Partnerships, collaboration and synergies to preserve the Mediterranean Coast
Under the main theme “partnerships, collaboration and synergies”, there were more than 100 Mediterranean and European actors involved in the protection of coastal zones, including governments, local authorities, public sector, coast management organizations, associations, and funding agencies, to celebrate Coast Day in the Mediterranean on 25 September 2015 in Antibes, France.
